I noticed the cream cheese I'd bought a while back (but hadn't yet used) was about to expire in a few days. I was trying to figure out what I might do with it when I thought of the Rice Krispies I'd just bought. I knew you could bake them because I've made Rice Krispy treats before, so I decided I'd mix them together. I mixed about two cups of cereal with the whole container of cream cheese. I then separated the mix into cupcake wrappers, put them into a cupcake tin, and baked them until they browned. They were scrumptious and I will definitely be making them again!

This morning I was checking a few items on my home computer before heading out to the school computer lab. While I did so I snacked on M&M's that I had bought last night. Although I love them I also know they are neither a nutritious nor satisfying breakfast. They did, however, accomplish the purpose of holding me off until I could get some "real" food. It is so frustrating to me when I don't plan well enough to have actual meals.
On my way to the lab I got chicken and cheddar cheese on a roll and a snapple. This helped with hunger and warmed me up a bit (as the sandwich was hot). It wasn't quite the breakfast I had wanted to get if I'd left the house earlier but it did allow me to eat enroute to the lab and therefore not waste more time.
